A Sound Start Studio Policies
Due to the nature of our "in advance" class enrollment process, we are often unable to fill last minute vacancies created by cancellations or absences. We have established the following policies which we feel are both accommodating to our clients and fair to A Sound Start. Thank you for your understanding.
Registration Policies
- Full refunds will be given within one week of registration
- If a class registration is cancelled after the one week grace period, clients will receive a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee
- If a class registration is cancelled less than one week prior to the first day of class, clients will receive a credit worth 100% of the class fee paid or a cash refund of 50%.
- If a class registration is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the first day of class or after classes have begun, clients will receive a credit worth 50% of the value of classes remaining in the session (refunds will not be given)
- Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis in case of emergency (illness, family emergency, move, etc)
- Satisfaction Guarantee: If after attending the first five classes you are dissatisfied with your experience, you may cancel your registration and receive a full refund, less the cost of any materials which are yours to keep.
Make Up Policies
- Unless otherwise noted, clients are permitted two make up classes at alternate class times to cover absences due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Every effort will be made to accomodate make up requests, however make up classes are available only as space permits and are not guaranteed.
- Make up classes must be taken during the same semester as the original missed class. Any unused make up classes are forfeit at the end of the semester.
- Clients must request a make up class ahead of time. Dropping in to an alternate class without a reservation is not permitted.
